Find a comfortable reading speed
Try 3 pt/s and adjust with the slider or ±0.1 controls. Pausing the prompter does not stop a recording. Drag the text to reposition it and continue from there.
Voice tracking is unavailable
Check microphone and speech recognition permissions in Settings, then choose Mandarin or English in Reading settings. Manual scrolling remains available if system on-device recognition is unavailable. Turn voice tracking back on after editing to load the updated script.
A recording did not save to Photos
Check Photos add permission and available storage, then retry from the recovery banner. Failed recordings are retained locally where possible. Do not uninstall the app while recovering a take, as this removes local files. Switching apps or locking the phone ends the take and attempts to save it; continuous background recording is not supported.
Report a problem
Include the app version, iPhone model, iOS version, and steps that led to the issue. Hide private script content before sharing screenshots. Passwords, unique device identifiers, and full recordings are not needed.
